SEKRITS and school.... and Harry Potter is so hawt... the books, i mean.

Today was boring. blahlalalalah.

I didn't do any of my homework from last night.
I rushed through the assignment, practiced to play a song that period, and finished the week's homework all in about 15 minutes in my piano class. wooo.

I wrote my English project/ Jordan & Meg FF yesterday, so today I began editing and stuff. Woooo.

I did a whole lot of chemistry homework/classwork and took 4 pages of notes in that class. Woooo

I got yelled at by a substitute teacher from Jamaica because I was warming up and playing my clarinet at the beginning of class. He told us not to play the whole period. What a douche.

I bought "Left Right Wrong" by Julia Nunes last night, listened to it 16 times. Literally. It's great.
I am now buying "I'm Saying Nothing" by Lauren Fairweather right now. How appropriate, since today is that day when you not supposed to talk, or something. It's still downloading. 5/14 done.

I am about to write tomorrows blog post and publish it so that it appears to have been posted tomorrow at noon. That's where the sekrit I'm hiding comes in. You'll see tomorrow. I'll be gone until sunday, send me love.

Today I...
-wrote tomorrow's blog
-read a chapter of GoF

HARRY POTTER TRAILER (Screencaps)

Today was confusing.
I'm writing the FF as a story for my Language Arts/ English class.
New trailer leaked while I was at school, was later released.
Today was confusing, we had testing.
My schedule: periods in order: 2,1 (for testing),3,1,2,4.
I don't know why.
I don't have much time.
Here's what I've been doing for the last hour. Click on the link to see them in full res.

Today I...
-read 2 chapters of GoF

I almost didn't post today.

Today was long, even though it was a half-day at school (like all wednesdays), and we only had to go from 7-12. Wait, don't normal schools run for 6 hours? That's 5. Not much of a half-day, huh? Maybe that's why they're called minimum days. On regular days, we have school from 7:16-2:16. 7 FRIKKEN HOURS. Why the random 16's? WE HAVE NO CLUE. Our school wanted to be unique and torture it's students?

So anyway, today we took the first part of our STAR testing, which used to be called CSTs, which in turn used to be called STAR testing. It's where the state decides to test you for no reason besides making your head explode. Being the bored junior I am, I peeked ahead at the next section (which we're doing tomorrow) and I saw the words "Harry Potter." I was so excited. It was just boring sentence comprehension stuff though.

This month has been pretty good. I got $500, the most ever, just for my birthday. I was so happy. I'm still saving up for a macbook, so it's not going anywhere anytime soon. I've gotten featured TWICE in Kristina Horner's blog for my Sinweeda skillz (with a 'z'). Check it out at italktosnakes.blogspot.com I'm Jordiekins. I've maintained good grades, and HOLY CRAP MY FRIENDS BIRTHDAY IS TOMORROW. I haven't gotten a present yet. ugh... *stares blankly*

I will write Jordan (not me)/Meg FF tomorrow even if it kills me. I've put it off for way to long.

Today I...
-didn't read anything, but read lots of state testy stuff.

School/Junioritus?/BUSYBUSYBUSY/HARRYPOTTER=HP6?/LONGTITLESFTW.

Today has been stressful.
As I get ready for my senior year in High School, I realize that I do not know what I want to do with my life. I've always wanted to be something. It's changed over the years. I've wanted to be a mad scientist, a Disney imagineer, a marine biologist, a Music teacher, and even, believe it or not, famous. I don't know what I'm gonna do.

During school, all juniors were called out of class for a meeting with our counselors. It wasn't a 1-on-1 meeting, it was an assembly in our auditorium. We were basically told that we HAD to choose a "small learning community" that has to do with the career we want to, err.... do. We have to decide by tomorrow. Our SLCs are Law enforcement, Business, Environmental Studies, Computer Technology, Health, and Creative and Performing Arts. I'm in CAPA. They decided that next year, you can't take any electives dealing with other SLCs. I want to switch my SLC to Environmental Studies, but I also want to take Band. PROBLEM.

We were also given the paperwork for Early Release/ Late Start, which is where we go to school late or leave school early. If I do this, which I want to, I won't have a way to get home. I'll have to wait at least an hour, which can be good if I wanted to hang out with my friends and help out with my band teacher's classes, to get home. I don't know if it will work.

The only classes I am required to take next year are Senior English and Econ/Am. Govt. If I were to do the half day thing, I would have to take another class with each*, which could be good if I want to take band, or Green Building (teehee), or something. The problem? Oh, it's still the whole getting to and from school thing.

I have so much to do tonight it's not even funny.

In other news, HP6 ( is that really what they're advertising it as?) is now coming out on July 15th, as opposed to July 17th. This kind of ruined everyone's summer plans, because who can afford a hotel to stay before Azkatraz for THAT long? Oh well. I still can't wait to see it.

Oh, and I swore I was going to write Jordan (not me)/Meg FF today. Maybe tomorrow? I'm way to busy today.

Today I...
-read 16 pages of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" by J.K. Rowling.
-recommend "Blink" by Chameleon Circuit.

*Our school runs on this weird block schedule.
We have four classes for 1/2 a year.
Each class is an hour and a half long.
Blah, it's kind of stupid.

"'cause you had a bad day..."

First off, I fail.
I missed a day of BEDA for the first time, yesterday. I know, sad, right? I was going to make it up today, but I haven't had the best day, so er.... maybe tomorrow?

Caught an hour or two of Maureen's show today. I got her to "Scary German Hail Mary" for me. It. Was. Epic.
Chickened out of Maureen Match, even though I totally fit the description.... twice. Maybe next time? hahaha.

Let's hurry up and get through the bad day part:

1. All of my friends left for Hawaii today.
2. I found out that our teacher gave out a packet of homework, due today, to the entire class except for me.
3. I had to write my 18th essay in the last five weeks about "whatever" topic I choose. I AM RUNNING OUT OF TOPICS.
4. All of my friends left for Hawaii.
5. Since all of my friends left for Hawaii, the twenty of us who stayed got to do elementary level music exercises.
6. All of my friends left for Hawaii. =(

In an attempt to cheer myself up, I bought The Ministry of Magic's album, "Goodbye Privet Drive".
It has a song about Hedwig on it/didn't work. =(

I am now going to watch the Doctor Who Easter Special.

Today I...
-read the rest of "Coraline" by Neil Gaiman

SURPRISE!

I got home early, so I could blog. (I WILL NOT FAIL!)
Today I was at my dad's house. I had loads of fun.
I kicked some major alien butt in Halo.

I watched Slumdog Millionaire, which was, by far, the best thing I've seen in a long time.
I also slept. a lot. Then came a few episodes of Doctor Who and talking with my dad about Skins.

Well, I have to wake up in about 7 hours, so I'd better get some sleep
Happy Easter half of the world.

I'M A MONSTER!

I need to bring a notebook with me at all times. Today, I stopped and spaced three times when I had really good ideas for today's blog.
I forgot them.

Since state testing starts next week, our school switched us back to our old classes* for three days to review. I basically ignored my teachers and spent the day reading the rest of "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. It was amazing. I cannot wit until the next book comes out this September. The first of September if I remember correctly. The same day lots of young witches and wizards make the trip to King's Cross station to make the journey to Hogwarts. Oh, the memories. <3

Anyway, I've just started reading "Coraline" by Neil Gaiman I haven't been spoiled, so let's not change that.

I still have yet to make up for my lack of interesting blogs. I most likely WILL NOT post on Saturday and will make up for it the way I described last week.

Also, I kinda, sorta got invited to help out with a new Hunger Games website by the lovely MadamRosmerta. That really made my day. Thanks!

Well, I'm going to go to sleep, I haven't gotten much lately. OH! I might not go to school tomorrow. Maybe I'll write a big long interesting blog? We'll see!

Dentists, Birthdays, Books, and Sammiches.

To start, I've had a great day. I didn't have to go to school because I had a dentist appointment smack dab in the middle of it, and I couldn't be happier.

On the way to the dentist's office, we realized that we still had about 30 minutes to spare so we went to target. With my birthday being tomorrow, and my family's usual lateness, my mom and grandma asked me what I wanted. I GOT THREE BOOKS AND TWO SHIRTS. win.

Here comes the notsome part: my old dentist fails at life (literally). The last time I had went to a dentist, I had to get four fillings. five. FIVE FILLINGS. Apparently, when you get a filling, you shouldn't feel the drill drilling into your tooth. I did last time. =/ Not only did he hurt me, he did a crappy job at filling in the holes. Upon X-ray examination (how cool does that sound?), he apparently hadn't filled the entire cavity... specifically, the bottom part. My new dentist is nice, funny, and pretty cool, though, so it's all good.

When we got home, I immediately tore into one of the books I got. It's great. more on that later.

And now, I am eating the most delicious sandwich I have ever had. IT'S ALMOST BETTER THAN CHIPOTLE BURRITOS. Maybe. It has lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mustard, mayo, pepper jack cheese, ham, turkey, and salami.

I'm going to go read again. Perhaps I'll do the 18 before 18 thing tomorrow, or perhaps, I'll just celebrate my birthday.
Oh, hai 16.

The-Day-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named

I had a really good day.
I completely screwed up a piano test with "Umbridge", but it doesn't even matter. I still have an A in that class.

In English, instead of doing work, we watched "The Shining". At our relatively new school, all classrooms have at least one computer and a projector, so we watch movies and stuff on a big screen that covers the whiteboard. If anyone has seen that movie, they would know about a nudity scene in that movie. Worrying about an administrator walking in during that scene, our teacher decided to block the screen with a white piece of paper. HE DOES NOT UNDERSTAND HOW A PROJECTOR WORKS. We made fun of him.

In Chem, I helped some kids out, turned in all of my work from the week, and left. very fast.

In band, we just did the same thing as yesterday, but today, we got a revised version of the march being played in Hawaii. The First strain is "Fish and Poi", the second is "Aloha Oe", and the third hasn't been announced yet. All of the parts got switched around, so now it sounds much better than it did yesterday.

Tomorrow is going to be weird. I'm not entirely sure I'll get to post, but if I don't, I will definitely post twice on Sunday. This, most-likely, will happen on all Saturdays. BE PREPARED.

I want to watch The Lion King now.

I'm thinking about starting something daily on here, as a special feature type section of my blog, you know?
I was thinking about maybe posting about how many pages I've read of what each day, or maybe recommend something on the internet.

Day Deux.

Well, today wasn't that much better than yesterday. I had a nice long chat with Umbridge that ended in her telling me she was glad I transferred into her class. o.O Whatevs.

In my English class, we spent our fourth one-and-a-half hour class session on "A Rose for Emily" by William Faulkner. 6 HOURS IS WAY TOO MUCH TIME TO READ DEAD PEOPLE'S STORIES. Who does my teacher think he is, my boss? I think not.

Chemistry was fun, I managed to turn in all of the missing work I had, I now have the fifth highest grade in the class, only surpassed by those who copy me. I wish that wasn't true.

In band we started getting ready for Hawaii, they leave on the 13th. One of our members arranged a medley of classic Hawaiian songs. We just started today. We are a VERY last-minute band.

Let's hope they do good. We got sweepstakes in Canada!

I'm going to go listen to some good ol' Harry and the Potters now, DFTBloginApril.

ApRiL fOoLzZzZzZz!

BEDA starts today!

Today has been a long day. It started out with me waking up around 5:30 in the morning only to be late to school (which starts at 7:16). 7:16? What kind of school can't choose a regular time to start school? Mine, apparently.

First period was fun, even though we got picked on by our Umbridge of a teacher again. She is literally short, fat, and toad-faced. She's also very rude. =/

Second period wasn't that much better, I really regret not switching out of that class. It's English, by the way, first was piano.

Third period, we did lots of chemistry stuff that basically went in one ear and out the other. I really need to pay more attention in that class. Yesterday, my teacher announced to the class that I got a 36/50 on my midterm. Embarrassed, I tried to act like I didn't hear her. But then, she made it all better by revealing that I had the second highest score in the whole class.

Fourth period was band. We're getting ready for all of our spring events, including Cinco De Mayo and our Hawaii trip. I'm really starting to regret not going. =/
