It's been a while, hasn't it?
A lot has gone on since October 7th, when I last blogged, but luckily, the majority of you who I know read this are my friends. For the few stragglers that may have found my blog, through Twitter or Tumblr or whatever, just know that I had a life-changing winter. I don't want to dwell on it, but I learned a few things over the last few months. I learned what loss really was (this happens too often, I think), and which of my friends I could not count on to be there when I needed them (also, too often), and finally learned to appreciate something Michael Gambon said as Dumbledore.
Otherwise, I've been all right, I guess. School has been fine. I applied for one of my dream jobs and didn't get it. I went to Disneyland a few more times. Not much has changed, really.
Today, I'm starting a new project with my friends Nikki and Jessie. Over the course of the month, we've decided that were going to adapt Disney's Princess and the Frog for a fictional stage, with an unlimited budget. Nikki and I are doing all of the work that involved writing, and we've set a secondary goal that's not usually a part of the challenge that prompted us to do this project, Script Frenzy. Jessie, our (not technically allowed) third team member, will be contributing art and drawings to the project, to help give us a better idea of what our show would actually look like if we were able to actually do it. So, that's a thing.
Other than that, I recently joined a late-starting class at my school. The instructor of the course is notorious for assigning ridiculous amounts of homework. Lucky for me, our course is only half the length that most courses teaching the same information are, so I'm pretty busy.
This is going to be a boring month, friends. Fair warning.
